SUITE22 Events is one of the first event management and organization agencies to be part of the list of suppliers recognized by the Québec Council for Eco-responsible Events (CQEER). Since 2018, SUITE22 Events has demonstrated its environmental leadership. It is also with honor that SUITE22 Events received in 2021 the “On tourne vert” accreditation during the provincial event entitled : 25 years of success for Aliments du Québec. This accreditation is the result of the agency's eco-responsible commitment.

Here are some of the everyday actions that SUITE22 Events puts forward to be a model of eco-responsibility :
Our daily actions
Paper reduction
We only print when it is really essential. And if we have to print, we use recycled paper, print double-sided and with low ink flow. We use tools for sharing digital documents, which facilitates access to them for the whole team.
Optimal email management
Email is just as polluting as paper. This is why at SUITE22 Events we regularly clean our emails and virtual trash cans. The digital cleaning also includes social networks, videos, photos and everything on the servers. Whenever possible, we also avoid sending heavy emails by limiting the number of recipients and attachments.
Travel reduction
In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also to reduce traffic, we encourage working from home and favor videoconference meetings. When traveling necessary, we use bicycles, carpooling or public transport.
Energy saving
Our equipment is energy efficient. In the office, as much as possible, we turn off the lights and take advantage of natural light. At the end of the day, we reduce the heating and turn off our computers.

Plan an eco-responsible event
SUITE22 Events makes a point of ensuring a high rate of eco-responsibility of the events organized by the agency. Over the years, the agency has become an eco-responsible leader in its community, thanks to simple, free and effective actions. Through information and awareness, we change habits! Today, SUITE22 Events can make your project an eco-responsible event. here's how :
Travel
In order to avoid unnecessary travel, we mainly use photo libraries and virtual tours for scouting or choosing a location. We try to choose locations that are accessible by public transportation and we encourage our teams, customers and guests to use active or public modes of transportation. We also ask our suppliers to turn off vehicle engines when loading and unloading deliveries.
On the menu
We encourage our customers to opt for local, seasonal and organic foods. We always offer plant-based menus. We favor fair trade products: coffee, tea, sugar and chocolate. Whenever possible, we avoid including red meats, endangered fish species and ultra-processed products on our menus. Finally, we offer contactless water refill stations.
Recyclable / reusable
We always choose reusable cutlery, plates, containers, utensils and water bottles. On the sites of our events, we plan well-identified bins for sorting waste. For signage, we choose reusable or recyclable materials that are accepted in sorting centres. In terms of the collection of residual materials, SUITE22 Events also pays great attention to the collection and adequate treatment of hazardous materials such as batteries, Sterno cans, etc.
Give back
SUITE22 Events is associated with specialized organizations in order to redistribute surplus food and ensure that there is no unnecessary loss. We also recover decorative elements that are still in good condition and redistribute them to non-profit organizations that could use them.
Sanitary products
We avoid disposable cloths and instead use reusable cloths, which we change regularly. Our cleaning products are organic, local, fragrance-free and we source in bulk. For personal care, we choose paper containing 100% recycled content.
Room decoration
We opt for the rental rather than the purchase of furniture, decorations and other accessories. In addition to being much more ecological and economical, renting allows us to constantly renew ourselves!
